Heliconia.
Although I had visited Melbourne three times before my recent trip to the Victorian city, this trip still managed to feel just as exciting as if I was visiting for the first time. Perhaps, this was because I got to share all my favourite places with my mum - who was actually experiencing the city for the first time - or that I sought out quite a few new places within and around the city that were completely new to me.
I first spotted this ASOS skirt on my favourite blogger on a chance meeting with her in a Sydney boutique, and was surprised to be told that it was by ASOS. I usually feel awkward in long skirts but with the soft knit-blend material that sits so comfortably along the body and the added flexibility of movement allowed by the centre-front split, wearing this skirt was perhaps the least-awkward and most comfortable experience that I have felt (clothing-wise) since I can remember; even whilst flying on a crowded plane trip.
