Although it is still four months until I fly back over to Europe, I am so excited that I am already planning my wardrobe. I purchased this dress a few months ago with Italy and Turkey in mind. Besides being ultra lightweight (great for the heat of the European summer and luggage weight requirements for the 16 flights i'll be taking within the 7 week period!), the matrimonial feeling created by the intricate embroidery and knee-length skirt makes this dress fitting for cathedral and mosque exploring. I've already put it to the test in Sydney's St Mary's cathedral, but whilst in Melbourne I took it to St. Patricks cathedral; next up Hagia Sophia ;)
In my previous trips to Melbourne, St. Patrick's cathedral had escaped me, but I'm so glad that I came across it this time. Not only is the cathedral itself astounding in exterior architectural design, but the flora that surrounds the site is perfect for picnicking and frolicking through. Under this canopying tree besides the cathedral has definitely become my favourite picnicking spot in Melbourne.
