Let's get WIRED | Coffee & Cake

Friday, July 18, 2014

One of the best things about moving to a back to your home city, is that you get to experience all the new and exciting bars, restaurants and tourist spots.

After an epic evening at Annie's Burger Shack, I've been seeing a lot of people sharing the love for a local, family run coffee house called Wired

Located in Nottingham's - newly named - Creative Quarter, Wired is an artisan style cafe bar that serves up some rich, tasty coffee and wholesome homemade food - but most importantly cake! So me and my mum decided to go and check it out one lunch time.

Every time I walk by here, it is super busy - from morning coffee runs to relaxed brunches in the sunshine.

When sitting down in the cafe, we were immediately greated by smiling faces from the staff. We sat down to look through their menu which ranged from sandwiches to salads.

When going up to order, the friendly waitress asked me if I wanted one of their loyalty cars - similar to cafe Nero - where you get a free hot drink after so many visits.

We ordered a pot of tea, freshly group cappuccino and two warm chicken, chorizo and caramelised onion salads.

Overall, the food brilliant and the service was fantastic and friendly. But don't just take my word for it, have a peek at their Trip Advisor page.
