If you're the type of person who loves a good beach / pool day when travelling / on holiday then, like me, you will have a beach bag full of must-have beauty items.
Here are my key beach beauty essentials that I will be keeping in my beach bag this summer.
Beach Hat:
Not only will a light weight straw hat help you to look boho-chic when gracing up and down the beach, but it will help to protect your head and face from being burnt in the sunshine.
Sunglasses:
For years I chose to buy cheap sunglasses, until this summer when I decided to invest in a pair of polarized Ray Ban sunglasses from the
Sunglasses Shop*, to help protect my little peepers.
Face Mist:
I'm in love with this vitamin E face mist from the Body Shop. It will help to keep your face cool and hydrated during those hot beach days.
Sun Cream:
No matter how tanned that you would like to be, please always protect your skin with the right SPF. A good friend of mine was recently diagnosed with skin cancer in their mid 20's. You never think it is going to happen to you, but it's opened my eyes to taking sun cream factors seriously. The
NHS direct have a great page on the right SPF for your skin.
Brush:
I've heard such good things about Tangle-Teeze brushes. Available in a range of colours, this hand held brushes are perfect for beach days.
Nail Polish:
Brighten up those finger and toe nails with a lush coral nail varnish. I tend to opt for this colour as it stands out against my skin when on holiday.
Surf Spray:
Lusting after beach waves. Say no one. Invest in a good sea salt spray like the one from Bumble and Bumble.
Tinted Lip Balm:
With all that salt and sun, you want to keep your lips nice and hydrated. Personally, I like to opt for a tinted lip balm to add a burst of colour to my lips.
