Italian Delights at Jamie's Italian in Nottingham

Italian food is probably one of my favourite things to eat and cook. It was even one of my themes for a World Cup football party that I threw.

So when me and my best friend Victoria (IntheFrow) decided to spend our Saturday evening at Jamies Italian with great food and Prossecco it was a no brainer.

To start with we opted for a ricotta, ham and pear bruschetta and Caprese mozzerella salad. We decided to share our starters, as there was too much to choose from.

But I have to say that the bruschetta was absolutely incredible. The texture and tastes were out of this world!

Next up was the mains. Victoria opted for the ricotta dumplings in sage and palmers an butter sauce and I went for the sausage papperdella pasta with a side of crunch vegtables to share. Both of reactions were pleased and content with our amazing choices.

And as if this wasn't enough food, we polished off our prosecco with chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream (which I highly recommend) and a Mango Sourbet.

When asking for the bill we were amazed at the price. We decided to also leave a good tip because we had recieved such amazing service all night and so the total bill was £40 each - including tip.

But of course it wouldn't be a trip to Jamies without exploring it's hidden features. I know that in the Manchester, due to the location, the toilets are old bank volts which is pretty cool. But here in Nottingham the toilets are in the iconic sandstone caves. Pretty cool.

Overall, a great night at Jamies Italian. Good food and a great friend!
