Pool side lunch at the Hilton Diagonal | Barcelona

A sunny day in Barcelona called for one thing and one thing only... a pool bar. Not just any pool bar, but the luxurious Puro Beach at the Hilton Diagonal Mar. 

Highly recommended by my bestie IntheFrow from her previous visit to Barcleona, we made our way here to enjoy an afternoon of sunshine and cocktails by the pool. 

To rent one of these fabulous sun loungers (if you're a non-guest of the hotel) is €40 per hour. This includes towels, water and fruit throughout your stay. However, we only had a couple of hours here and so we decided to opt for a yummy lunch and cocktails. 

I opted for the Rose Daiquiri, a blend of rum, red berries and syrups and cost €12. The cocktail menu was pretty mega, offering a range of tasty delights to suit anyone's preference. 

For lunch we opted for the selection of the half salads €11-14, along with a selection of breads, which was more than enough for lunch. 

The food, service and environment here was beautiful and I wish we would of have more time to enjoy the sun beds and swimming pool. 

Nevertheless it was a perfect afternoon spent with my best friends.
