Pretty Pictures at Park Güell | Barcelona

Since studying art at secondary school through to my A-Levels, I have always wanted to visit the Gaudi installations at Park Güell in Barcelona. So when my sneaky 'hen-ettes' planned this trip into my hen party celebrations, I was pretty happy to spend my morning here.

Located about 45-60 minutes (depending on where you are) in Barcelona, there are many ways to get to this beautiful park. (Click here for 'How to get here' information) We decided to jump in a taxi, as there was a large group of us and so it only worked out around 3-5 Euros each.

Before arriving at the park, I would also suggest heading over to www.parkguell.cat/en/buy-tickets/ and booking tickets in advance so that you can get the time you want to view the park. When we arrived there was a good two hour wait for the next slot to go into the park.

With that all booked, you're then free to stroll around and enjoy the amazing work of Antoni Gaudí. Here a few of my favourite snaps.

Whilst walking around, we came across a local artist who sits most days outside the park and paints beautiful water colour paintings of iconic landmarks in Barcelona. He sells these for around 3-5 euros and they are truly beautiful. Myself, Victoria and Charlie all purchased one of his pieces of artwork as they were too beautiful not to.

If you're going to Barcelona, then this place is, without a doubt, a must-see place.
