Snow Adventures ❄️ Top 3 Ski Resorts in Europe ❄️

Monday, January 4, 2016

Since exploring New Zealand and taking snowboarding lessons at the Cardrona Ski Resort, I've had the urge to plan a snow holiday with my friends and family. Also, since seeing my bestie, InTheFrow's videos and blog posts on her trip to Morzine, my snow search has upped it's game.

1. La Plagne

Located within the picturesque French Alps, in the Tarentaise alpine valley, La Plagne is a family ski resort which enables you to ski, snowboard and go glacier walking. If you also fancy a change from hitting the slopes, there’s the option to go cycling, horse riding or paragliding.
To me this seems like to perfect place for an all-around activity holiday.

2. Evasion - Mont Blanc

Surrounded by the breath taking Mont-Blanc mountain range, Evasion Mont-Blanc is the third biggest ski resort in the whole of France. Here you’ll find runs that reach up over 4800m in altitude and whilst you’re going about your snow fan, you’ll be treated to an added magical view of beautiful alpine cabins and pine forests – a real authentic ski experience.

3. Åre

Let's all just take a moment to look at how beautiful this is ... okay, and we're back. This delightful ski destination is Åre in Sweden.  It is the largest, most advanced and diverse alpine sports resort in Northern Europe – and what a status I might add.  Here they cater for all levels of snow bunnies - from first timer to snow-pros and you can take advantage of their world class slopes. Plus, you may just bump into a reindeer on the way to the shops and restaurants - bonus!

And there you have it, my top three ski resorts that I will be scouting out to visit sooner rather than later. If you have any suggestions on beautiful ski resorts in Europe then please feel free to send me a tweet @EatTravelLove
