Pink Sundays at Fairmount Hotel | Monaco

I honestly can't believe that we have been happily married for over a year now. So what better way for us to celebrate than with good food, good wine and one of our favourite travel destinations, Monaco.

Monaco was the first place that my husband and I traveled to over twelve years ago. So we decided that for our first wedding anniversary - paper - our gift to each other would be plane tickets to Nice. Staying here for six days, we mainly relaxed by the pool and on our anniversary paid a trip to the Fairmont Hotel, located on the iconic car racing hairpin bend, to enjoy a Pink Sunday Brunch

With stunning views across the Mediterranean, Pink Sunday occurs, well, every Sunday from noon until 4pm. Food and drink (Rose or Pink Champagne) are also unlimited with prices starting at 79€ if you opt for Rose wine or it's 99 if you go for Champagne.

From fresh salads to grilled meats to seafood selections. the food here is pretty incredible. I opted for a prawn, salmon and mozzarella salad to start, followed by grilled chicken and vegetables for my main (this I didn't manage to take a photo of because I was too engrossed in good food) and ended my main with a mango moose, watermelon and homemade popcorn.

As we sipped our chilled Rose wine in the midday sun, it was so lovely to just sit and chat whilst watching the many luxurious boats and yachts sail on by.

Two and a half hours later (and slightly tipsy) we happily settled our bill and made our way back to our apartment. The whole experience had been wonderful and great value for money when compared to Monaco food and drink prices - plus the location is incredible. A must experience if you're planning a trip to Monaco with friends or family.
